I knew, how to do this one as long my cow or horse will cooperate “lol”. Nice photos…http://thefourseasonsofmylife.com/2007/12/wordless-wednesday_12.html
Perhaps this is a stupid question, but are you posting photos of family members you’ve already shared with us? Or are you discovering / going through boxes and posting what peaks your interest in the moment?
I’m glad someone has missed me. I have been languishing in tax season craziness. It’s just about over and I can’t wait to get back to my hobbies.
The photos are just random. This one is a photo of my great-grandfather C. E. Bruce plowing his field in Fisher County during the depression. The two younger men are his sons. I think the man in the middle is my grandfather, however Mom thinks it is one of the brothers. Pa was the shutterbug and most likely behind the camera.
"We inherit from our ancestors gifts so often taken for granted... Each of us contains within... this inheritance of soul. We are links between the ages, containing past and present expectations, sacred memories and future promise."
-Edward Sellner
These pictures are amazing. I love the spirit of your blog. It speaks of why it’s so important to hold onto our heritage.
Hope you have a wonderful WW. I’ve posted my contribution here and hope you drop by for a look around:
